The Green Initiative Team was created to embrace the University’s commitment to promote and practice sustainability. The team is charged to research “green” initiatives and recommend actions that will generate a meaningful environmental change at the Library. Issues of concern include energy use, recycling, reducing paper waste, and other ways to preserve the environment. Through implementation of sustainable practices, we have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on our environment at the workplace.

We invite members of the library and university communities to participate in the SU Library’s sustainability initiatives.
